Jambo!!

We are having a fun and relaxing time back in Kenya. Despite being able to sleep in today, most of us were up around 6:00am to witness the beautiful sunrise...it was worth it!

We went into Voi and attended a Catholic church's Sunday service after breakfast. It was in Swahili, but that didn't matter much. The service and songs were wonderful. We clapped along as the hymns we're still meaningful to us. After the service, the priest called on our driver who accompanied us and asked us to come to the front of the church. We explained the reason for our visit, and introduced ourselves. The congregation was very welcoming and happy we had visited their church. 

After church we enjoyed a delicious lunch overlooking Tsavo National Park followed by some sun and pool time. We enjoyed every minute of the sun, and watched the sun set on the horizon. 

Time flies when you're in Africa! We are all so thankful for a bit of rest and time to reflect on our life-changing experiences here in Kenya and Tanzania, as we prepare for our final days here.
