Sorry for not posting yesterday, it was a wonderful but long day. We started the day waking up early and going into Kibera. We went to 2 schools. At the first school we gave girls Red Elephant packs, they were so happy. Some of us split up into groups and taught the kids and played games while the teachers were taught first aid and how to use their water purifiers. The school is facing many stuggles. They are goimg to dimolosh the school to add a road. They had to down size their student from 300 to 150. They are not sure how or where they are going to build theor next school or how they are going to support their teachers.
We then went to our 2nd school and took a tour. The school only charges a small fee for their students. They have been able to make many changes to their school. They have build a second story and have been able to clean their area as well.
We then went to a boys orphanage to deliver the scabies supplies. We had seen the majority of the boys at the medical camp in Athi River.
Today, was another early rise day. We started out at 730 this morning and made a 7 hour drive into Tanzania. The rest of the day is being spent relaxing at the pool.
Until tomorrow!
